Hi there. My name is Victor Oyedokun, but if that sounds too serious, just call me Victor. Or Prince Ooyes. Or the guy building fintech things and disturbing API endpoints all over Nigeria. 😂
Let me just say it straight: I’m not famous yet. Forbes hasn’t called. Wikipedia hasn’t written about me (or maybe I just never gree go write about myself there). But it’s definitely not because I’m not doing serious things o, it’s probably because I haven’t hyped or packaged myself enough.
So, here I am, doing the needful. Let’s put some respek on my name. Leggo!
I Build Stuff. Fast.
I’m that guy who sees a problem and starts spinning up a Python project before the person even finishes the complaint. I’ve built multiple solid fintech solutions like Paytev, smooth, fast, and slightly addictive (ask anybody wey don use am).
I lead projects that turn heavy backend logic into simple user flows that even your grandma can navigate. And when I’m not doing that, I’m probably vibing with Flutter or debugging someone else’s badly behaved JSON response. 😤
In short: if it has logic, users, payments, or problems, I’m already inside. No long talk.
Proudly Nigerian, Boldly Global
Yes, I’m building for Nigeria. But I carry a global vision in my mind. My fintech solutions don’t just solve local problems; I build with global standards and future-proof architecture.
From virtual dollar cards to grassroots agent systems inspired by Moniepoint, I’m mixing deep local street sense with clean code and global structure.
Yes, na street I dey build for, but my code clean pass boardroom slide deck. 😎
Highlights (Because I’m Lowkey a Machine)
Let me sprinkle a few recent works, just to remind myself (and you) that I’m not playing:
- Paytev: A full-fledged fintech solution. Airtime, data, bills, and dollar card engine in one sweet app. Flight booking and international payments are coming soon. Stay tuned.
- Tivaflex: Pay-small-small system. Real estate moguls, school owners, and smart business folks use this to double sales and make customers smile. If you know, you know.
- Tivahub Web Hosting: Oh yes, I also run a hosting company. Powering dreams and businesses across the internet like one Naija-based AWS.
- Agent System: Inspired by Moniepoint. Think grassroots marketing meets real-time data and clean backend ops. I built it like a general preparing for digital warfare.
- Public APIs: I opened my systems to the public. Airtime, data, bills, dollar card… all accessible like jollof rice at owambe. Just generate your API key, let’s go.
- Bulk Mailing Software: I built this one for personal use o. An unlimited bulk mailer that I use to run my marketing non-stop. Deployed it for a few friends too. Now everybody dey enjoy.
- Audio Streaming Platform: Okay, I know you might not fully understand this one yet… even me sef still dey finesse the last parts. But believe me, it’s hot. E go soon clear. Just bookmark the project. 🔥
I’m Not a Jack of All Trades — I’m Just Strategic, Abeg
You might be thinking, “This guy dey do many things o.” And you’re right.
But everything I touch… from fintech to flexible payments to infrastructure are deliberately connected. They all still revolve within the same industry. I’m not just jumping around like a confused frog. 😂
I’m building an ecosystem that empowers users, solves real problems, and makes money flow easier across Africa and beyond. I’m deliberate about this path. One industry, many solutions. All intentional.
By the way, I recently wrote a post on Untapped Opportunities Await Innovative Nigerian Companies. You can check the post out.
Age, Networth & Family (Because Na All of Us Dey Life)
Age: I was born on August 16, 1997.
Networth: I never get… but e go soon shock una. 😂
Family: Oh, I’m proudly a family man. Like, very proudly. Family is one of my strongest values. The Lord Jesus has helped me keep my businesses thriving and my home very intact. Balance is not a myth here, we dey live am daily.
God blessed me with the most amazing wife (and yes, she’s super pretty, no argument).
Fun fact: she once took me to that their village in Kogi state… omo, bad road everywhere. 😩 My car bumper nearly resigned that day. (I just hope she won’t read this part sha. Lol.)
We also have a very sharp, hyperactive, and brilliant 4-year-old son. Small genius in the making.
And guess what? My wife is pregnant again! So yes, I’m actually expecting another child (maybe a twin anytime from now).
So, I’m building platforms and preparing to raise some baby CEO at the same time. Double deployment season. One in production, one in the womb. 😂 Managing backend systems and bedtime stories.
It’s double deployment season: one platform in production, one baby in the womb. 😂
Final Word (Until Wikipedia Calls Me)
I may not be on Forbes. My name might not trend on X this week. But make no mistake:
I’m not building to be liked. I’m building to be undeniable.
Every line of code, every feature I launch, every person I empower… It’s part of a bigger plan: to help Africans win with tech, creativity, and confidence.
So if you’ve read this far, wow, thank you! Now do yourself a favor: bookmark the name — Victor Oyedokun. One day, you’ll proudly say:
“I read his blog post before he blew.”
